Huma’s Inspiring Transformation, from Marginalized Community to Distinguished Lecturer.
Huma, a resident of a marginalized community in Sialkot, had limited resources and restricted access to quality education. In 2013, a pivotal turning point arrived when Hashoo Trust extended a placement in the Educate A Child Program to Huma. This invaluable opportunity served as a beacon of hope, clearing the path for her to enroll at Dow University to pursue her BDS Degree.
Huma’s journey through academia was marked by exceptional dedication and unwavering commitment, resulting in her graduation in 2017 with the prestigious distinction of a gold medal. Armed with her Bachelor of Dental Surgery, she has ascended to the position of a Lecturer at a distinguished medical college. In her role, Huma places great emphasis on instilling the values of perseverance and hard work among aspiring scholars, recognizing these virtues as the pillars of success.
