The Education Program provides financial aid to deserving and talented students, who are pursuing their education at school, college and university level. With the help of our partners and through individual philanthropy, we have impacted the lives of over 63,945 students (51,515 boys; 12,430 girls) through this program. Our Education Program considers students for scholarship on a financial need and merit basis. In emergencies, triggered by natural or man-induced disaster, we also provide one-time support to students to ensure continuation of their education.
The Educate Program covers expenses such as tuition fees, uniforms and stationery from kindergarten through till grade 12, tailoring the support to the specific needs of each family by identifying students and securing their placements in high-quality schools, thereby maximizing our beneficiaries’ opportunities for future success. Further, we also consider the proximity of school a priority to ensure that the geographical location or distance does not hinder a child’s access to education.
Educate a Child Program
The “Educate a Child” program aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goal 4, ensuring “Quality Education” for vulnerable segments of society. Our mission is to integrate these families into the global trends of education and technology-driven development. We reach out to vulnerable families, identifying competent children facing high socio-economic challenges, and provide them with educational support. Many children have benefited from this program, becoming valuable members of society, ensuring their families’ sustainability, and contributing to the broader welfare of the community.
Scholarship Programs
The Hashoo Trust Scholarship Program focuses on supporting outstanding students from vulnerable socio-economic backgrounds. This program provides assistance to students who qualify for entry tests to medical and engineering colleges or gain admission to prestigious educational institutions abroad.
Youth Development Centers
The Youth Development Centers (YDCs) provide quality accommodation for youth from mountainous and underdeveloped regions of Pakistan. These young individuals, coming from rural social backgrounds, often face cultural shocks and difficulties finding accommodation when they move to major cities. To address these challenges, Hashoo Trust’s YDCs offer quality living facilities for both girls and boys pursuing education in urban
Hashoo Alumni
Hashoo Alumni is a voluntary network of students who have received scholarships from Hashoo Trust. They have formed the “Hashoo Alumni Network,” a forum dedicated to supporting pro-poor education. This network provides technical guidance to youth, assisting them in their educational pursuits at various levels and locations.
Book Donation & Establishment of Libraries
Hashoo Trust, in collaboration with Rotary Club International, has distributed over 200,000 books to more than 50 libraries in both government and private schools across Pakistan. Continuing this tradition, the organization recently provided books to libraries in four locations, aiming to promote the habit of reading among youth and students and to reduce screen time.
We support university-level students pursuing higher education by covering either partial or full tuition fees, aligning our assistance with the financial needs of their families. Furthermore, we offer partial sponsorships to students, including a visually impaired student, who aspire to study abroad. These efforts are made possible thanks to the generous support of our donors.
We systematically monitor the progress of our students and diligently forward comprehensive reports to our esteemed donors. When students from rural areas require boarding facilities to be closer to urban universities, we actively seek benefactors to support this essential need. Donors play a pivotal role in our mission by offering various forms of support, including covering tuition fees, providing stationery, uniforms, transportation, and facilitating access to boarding facilities.

Beneficiary Selection Criteria
At Hashoo Trust, we employ a established process to identify beneficiaries for our humanitarian programs. This involves conducting thorough needs assessments, understanding the expectations of potential beneficiaries, establishing clear eligibility criteria, and providing an accessible application process. We carefully verify applicant information and make selections based on available resources. Once selections are finalized, we inform beneficiaries of their acceptance, program specifics, our expectations, the support they will receive, and any necessary requirements.
Ensuring access to high-quality education is a core priority for us. We recognize that attending top schools significantly enhances beneficiaries’ chances of gaining admission to reputable universities, ultimately improving their life prospects. To this end, we are committed to placing our beneficiaries in the best schools available in their areas, characterized by modern curricula and qualified teachers.
