Muhammad Ishaq hails from a middle-class family in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. After successfully obtaining high school and college-level certificates, his aspirations led him to secure admission at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar.
In recognition of his outstanding academic achievements and his deserving socio-economic background, Muhammad Ishaq was selected as a recipient of the Educate a Child Program in 2017. His childhood dream of studying at UET became a reality, and he dedicated himself to his studies, ultimately graduating in 2021 with a degree in Civil Engineering.
Following his graduation, Muhammad commenced his professional journey as a Lab Technician at Abasyn University and later assumed the role of a teacher at Government High School Charsada. He is currently a Sub-Division Officer (SDO, BS-17) in the Communication and Works Department, Peshawar.
Beyond his career, Muhammad is currently pursuing his MSc in Water Resources Engineering. His focus is on exploring the impacts of climate and land use changes on flow and sediment in the Kabul River Basin. Leveraging advanced tools such as the Soil and Water Assessment Tools, in conjunction with Geographic Information Systems and Artificial Neural Networks, he is actively contributing to the advancement of knowledge in this vital field.
